Students develop knowledge and skills regarding career opportunities, personal development, globalization, industry standards, details, practices, and expectations in agriculture, food, and natural resources.

Level 2: Agricultural Mechanics and Metal Technologies M #8061

This course focuses on power, structural, and technical agricultural systems. Tool operation, electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry, fencing, concrete, and metal working techniques are studied. Students will investigate career opportunities, entry requirements, industry certifications, and industry expectations.

Level 3: Agricultural Structures Design and Fabrication M #8062

Students will explore career opportunities, entry requirements, and industry expectations. To prepare for careers in mechanized agriculture and technical systems, students must attain knowledge and skills related to agricultural structures design and fabrication.

Level 4: Agricultural Equipment Design and Fabrication M #8042

Students will acquire knowledge and skills related to the design and fabrication of agricultural equipment. Prepares students for careers in mechanized agriculture and technical systems, related to agricultural facilities design and fabrication.

Level 4: Practicum in Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resourcesโ€”Ag Tech & Mec #8070

This is a capstone experience for students participating in a coherent sequence of the Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources cluster. Students apply knowledge and skills in real-world situations such as employment, independent study, internships, assistantships, mentorships, or laboratories.

PR: A minimum of one credit from the courses in the AGNR Career Cluster.
