University Health System is offering a convenient way for parents to stay up-to-date with their child’s immunizations. They will dispatch a mobile clinic to 12 NISD campuses in May.

Last night, Trustees discussed and took action on several items: approved 210 additional campus staff to accommodate growth and the opening of the Harlan HS and Kallison ES; approved the official calendar for the 2018-2019 school year; named “Grosenbacher area” elementary school after Dr. Linda Mora; and appointed campus administrators including three principals.

The Stevens High School Police Explorers program is in its first year of being a school organization and they are making great strides in preparing students for a future career. The after school program is teaching students real life police skills with on-hands training.
