The Northside Learning Tree After School Enrichment Program is seeking outgoing, energetic, and positive role models to fill approximately 100 part-time Youth Leader Instructor positions. They may not have their own cell phones yet, but Hatchett Elementary School Cyber Play Club members can tell you about the importance of protecting your online identity by changing passwords often and securing devices against cyber-attacks.
Northside ISD is holding an Auxiliary Job Fair to fill more than 300 positions for bus drivers, food service workers, food service manager trainees, police officers, custodians, and maintenance workers.
It used to be a computer lab at Hoffmann Elementary School. But as technology devices increasingly made their way into the classroom in the form of Chromebooks and iPads, the lab was used less often. Counselors and staff decided to create a new space to activate students’ brains and the Collaboratory was born.
Even after school, the learning doesn’t stop in Northside ISD, especially in the Learning Tree program. In fact for LT students, they’re just getting started learning about new career possibilities.
