Level 1: Principles of Business, Marketing, & Finance #8206

Course focuses on economies and private enterprise systems, the impact of global business, marketing of goods and services, advertising, and product pricing. Students analyze the sales process and financial management principles.

Level 1:AP Business and Personal Finance  #8305

Students explore the business disciplines of entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, accounting, and management through real-world business applications, case studies, and project based learning. In addition, students learn and apply all the National Standards for Personal Financial Education created by the Council for Economic Education and the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.

Level 2: Money Matters #8307

Students investigate global economics with an emphasis on the free enterprise system. Students analyze financial options based on current and projected economic factors and set long-term financial goals, achievable through investment, tax planning, asset allocation, risk management, retirement planning, and estate planning.

Level 3: Accounting I #8310

Students utilize knowledge to engage in the process of recording, classifying, summarizing, analyzing, and communicating accounting information based on various accounting industry standards. Students formulate and interpret financial information for use in management decision making.

Level 4: Securities and Investments #8315

Students will understand the laws and regulations to manage business operations and transactions in the securities industry. The student is expected to evaluate securities and investments products such as stocks, dividends, stock splits, options strategies, hedge funds, futures, bonds, mutual funds, venture capital, real estate, retirement investment plans, and education savings and the advantages and disadvantages from an issuer and investor perspective.
