The Learning Tree after-school enrichment program is offered at all Northside ISD elementary and middle schools providing students a safe, supervised environment with academic, social, and recreational opportunities. On April 6-10, Northside School District’s world-class facility will host the USA Diving Synchronized National Championships.

Once again, Northside is expecting a large kindergarten enrollment for the upcoming school year, making it all the more critical that parents register their children during Kinder Roundup in order to secure a seat at their neighborhood school. More than 7,500 kindergarten students are expected to enroll for the 2016-17 school year.

Northside ISD is holding a Job Fair for teaching positions at 10 specific, secondary schools to fill expected vacancies for the 2016-2017 school year. Northside expects to eventually hire around 500 teachers in the next three months Districtwide.

Northside magnet schools offer a focused, career-specific education for students who show an interest in a particular field or know what career path they want to take. Today, about 3,000 students are enrolled in NISD’s five magnet high school programs.
