SPECIALIZED INSTRUCTION CLASSROOM
The Specialized Instruction Classroom is designed for students who have medical needs that require physical management and health care support beyond what the home campus can provide. Student placement is determined by ARD committee. The classrooms include students who are aged three through grade twelve. Student placement can be either short term diagnostic/transitional placement or long-term education.
Student needs are met through a collaboration of related, instructional, and nursing services.
When school-age students' medical needs have become stable and predictable, the goal is to have them join their neighborhood peers back at their home campus.
