Allergy season and athletic sports are underway. It is very important, if your child is asthmatic, to have an asthma action plan current in the nurse's office and inhaler to ensure your child/school has the appropriate plan of action to treat your child in case it is needed.
Does your child have asthma? Are they missing school due to asthma? The city of San Antonio offers a FREE home teaching program to help kids with asthma improve their quality of life.
Did you know University Health System has a community based clinic right next to Jones Middle School? Not only do they offer immunizations, but they provide other services such as sports physicals, minor acute care, and well child checkups.
