PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our students, families, and staff for making our school community so special. Your support, dedication, and partnership truly make a difference every day.
I wish each of you a joyful and restful Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with family and friends.
Please remember that school will resume bright and early on Monday, December 2. We look forward to welcoming everyone back, ready to finish the semester strong!
Do Not Enter
Please be aware that the new Do Not Enter signs have been installed and will be enforced. They are located at the exit of the parent drop off lane.
For the safety of all staff, faculty, students and visitors, please do not enter through that area. It is an exit only.
Thank you for your support on this safety issue!
No cell phones while in the school zone
Remember that the use of cell phones while in the school zone is prohibited by Texas Transportation Code 545.425 Use of Wireless Communication Device in a School Crossing Zone or While Operating a Bus With a Minor Passenger; Local Authority Sign Requirements.
This includes the parent drop off/pick up lane in front of the campus. It is illegal (and unsafe) to operate a motor vehicle while using a cell phone in a school zone. This offense is a Class C Misdemeanor. Please be aware that if a person is observed using a non-hands-free device while operating a motor vehicle in a school zone, may be subject to a citation for the offense.

Elementary Visits (Gifted & Talented)
This Monday, I (Ms.Cepeda) was able to visit to Mary Michael, Fisher, John Glenn, Valley Hi, and Allen Elementary! It was so fun getting to meet these awesome 5th grade GT students. We played Thanksgiving Trivia, learned all about GT in middle school, and got creative with a Recreation Challenge. Rayburn is excited to welcome these future Raiders next year!
