San Antonio Zoo Field Trip (Gifted & Talented)
Last Friday (10/25), 6th grade GT visited the zoo as part of their research for the Design a Zoo Unit, where students will create a new and improved zoo in Minecraft Education. Even though it was a little warm, the students had a good time and participated in a zoo field trip challenge where they learned a fun fact, had to complete a task, and ask an expert about the animals.
Raider of the Week (R.B.I.T)
These students were recognized for showing Respect at Rayburn. Students were nominated by staff members for speaking & behaving respectfully, showing respect towards our school environment or having respect for their own or others learning. Congratulations to our Raiders of the Week!!
Thank You! (Counseling)
The It’s Socktober sock drive for the month of October had ended. Thank you for your donations to help students in need.
Attendance Matters (Attendance Team)
Thank you for your continued support in making sure your child attends school every day.
Here are a few reminders for absences:
Partial day absences are counted as full-day absences.
Excused health absences require your child to be present for part of the day to be considered a valid health note.
Consistent attendance is crucial for your child to thrive academically. Life can be unpredictable, and occasional absences may be unavoidable. We encourage you to make every effort to ensure your child attends school regularly. This will help them stay on track with their learning and maximize their potential for success.
