Cole Bader, Principal
Cole Bader - Principal
Hello, Raba family! My name is Cole Bader, and I am incredibly proud to serve as the principal of Raba Elementary. I have been working in education for over 15 years, and every moment has reinforced my belief in “Success for All in Raba.”

I hold a Master’s in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Special Education. My journey in education has been guided by a deep passion for helping students achieve their full potential and creating a school environment where every child feels valued.

At home, I am blessed to share my life with my amazing wife, who also serves in NISD, and our three wonderful children who keep us on our toes. Being a part of a family that’s dedicated to education drives my commitment to building strong partnerships with families and ensuring the success of every student at Raba.

Parents and community volunteers, we welcome and encourage your involvement and participation in our school. As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.

Go Rattlers!

My name is Leticia Zabava, and I am both grateful and excited to join the Raba Family as the new Associate Principal. Before coming to Raba, I had the privilege of working at Pre-K 4 SA, where I served as a Professional Development Coach, Assistant Director, and Inclusion Specialist. Prior to that, I began my teaching career in NISD, where I taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grades at Knowlton and Scobee. It’s been truly wonderful to return to NISD, a district I deeply admire.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Reading, along with my Master’s in Reading and Master’s in Educational Leadership, all from St. Mary’s University (Go Rattlers!). I am passionate about the belief that every child can learn when they are supported and nurtured. That’s why I am so proud to be a Raba Rattler, as it’s evident that here, children are embraced by our dedicated staff, supportive families, and the entire community.

I strongly believe in the power of collaboration, and I know that when we come together, we can drive positive change and growth that will benefit our students. I look forward to working closely with each student and family, and I want you to know that I am here to support you and your child every step of the way on their educational journey.

On a personal note, I am married with four children and four dogs. My two oldest sons graduated from Brandeis High School and my two youngest are currently attending NISD schools.

I’m eager to continue building relationships within this amazing community and to contribute to the exciting things happening at Raba!
