NJHS qualifications for membership are based on the five pillars of NJHS and a minimum GPA requirement at the end of the student's 7th grade school year. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of an A, or 90 on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent standard of excellence in order to receive an invitation to join Pease Middle School's NJHS. (Each school chapter is allowed to require a higher cumulative GPA.)
