Mr. Davenport
Jeff Davenport - Principal
Welcome to the Nichols webpage, I am Jeff Davenport, the proud principal at Nichols Elementary! I am a product of Northside having attended Valley Hi Elementary, Sam Rayburn Middle School, and John Jay High School. I am currently in my 33rd year in education and it has been an honor to have spent my entire career serving students in the Northside district. I have had an amazing career working with extraordinary students, teachers, and parents. When we all work together we create the winning combination for a successful school! It is my goal to create an atmosphere that focuses on educating the whole child and ensuring we are creating positive experiences for students and their families.

Welcome Mustangs!

I am Suzanne Lansdale, the proud Associate Principal of Nichols Elementary. I have been an administrator at Nichols for eight years. Before coming to the Nichols family, I taught in the Blattman, Ward, and Leon Springs communities. I have a degree in Early Childhood Development from Southwest Texas State University. A teaching degree from Mary Hardin Baylor and the University of Arkansas. My Masters of Education: Educational Leadership and Policy Studies is from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

I am the proud mother of three children who all graduated from Northside Schools. My three took full advantage of the extracurriculars that Northside provides. They participated in all types of sports, orchestra, and Oโ€™Connerโ€™s Ag Program. I feel that it is important for children to have a sense of belonging to their schools. When not at school, I like to spend my time with family and hiking with my two Corgis, Miles and Lola.

Here at Nichols, we want to focus on the whole child. Our motto is to create a community of learners who are well-rounded and ready to accept the challenges ahead with confidence. Each and every day my goal is to serve as an advocate for children. Decisions that are made day in and day out need to be based on what is best for children. I hope that each child that walks through our doors has a positive experience that fosters the love of learning.
