NISD celebrates more than 15,000 years of service

Recognition and Retirement Celebration

Approximately 650 employees are being honored at the annual NISD Recognition and Retirement Celebration. These honorees represent more than 15,000 years of service to Northside students. 

The District’s celebration will be held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 22 at Brandeis High School, 13011 Kyle Seale Parkway. A Superintendent’s Reception will be held in their honor beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The event is open to the public and all friends, families, and coworkers of the honorees are welcome. 

The event will also be streamed live for online viewing.

There are 352 employees being honored for 20, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years of service to Northside, with a combined 7,915 years of service. Hundreds of other employees are also being recognized at their campuses for 10 years of service.

In addition, this year there are almost 300 retirees with a total of 6,104 years of service to Northside and 7,188 years in education.

We thank all of our dedicated employees for their service and commitment to the children of Northside ISD.
