Over 2,000 Northside ISD student dancers will take the stage this week for a dazzling display of dance at a series of Winter Dance Spectaculars held this week. More than 700 high school students and 1,200 middle school students will participate representing all secondary campuses.
The 15th Annual High School Winter (Dance) Spectacular will be held on Dec. 11 and 12 at Brennan High School. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins promptly at 7 p.m.
The Annual Middle School Winter Spectacular will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14 with two performances at Stevens High School.
From graceful ballet to energetic hip-hop, the performances will showcase the incredible skills and passion of our young dancers. Admission is free, but space is limited, so arrive early.
The schedule of schools participating is:
- December 11: Brandeis, Clark, Harlan, Marshall, Stevens, Taft, and Warren high schools.
- December 12: Brennan, Holmes, Jay, O'Connor, and Sotomayor high schools.
- December 14 at 1 p.m.: Bernal, Briscoe, Folks, Hobby, Luna, Pease, Rawlinson, Rayburn, Ross, Rudder, and Stinson middle schools.
- December 14 at 3 p.m.: Connally, Garcia, Jefferson, Jones, Jordan, Neff, Stevenson, Straus, Vale, and Zachry middle schools.
The events are part of the Fine Arts Holiday Music Series.
