You know it is almost Fiesta time when groups start showing off their medals (or shoes!) and NISD schools have quite a few medals available for purchase this year.

Beard Elementary School: This year’s Beard Elementary School Fiesta medal was designed by fifth grader Lauren Crisp. Medals are $6 each and can be purchased in the school office.

Blattman Elementary School: The 2018 Blattman Elementary School Fiesta medal is available for $10 in the school’s front office. It features the school’s Black Bear mascot.

Burke Elementary School: The Burke Elementary School Student Council is selling Fiesta medals for $7 each. They’re for sale in the school’s front office.

Cable Elementary School: Cable Elementary School is selling their first Fiesta medal which honors San Antonio’s Tricentennial celebration. The design features the Cable Cub mascot wearing a sombrero. They’re $7 each, cash only.

Galm Elementary School: Galm Elementary School’s Fiesta medals feature the school’s dolphin mascot. They’re available for $8 each in the school’s office until April 30.

Harlan High School: the inaugural Harlan High School Fiesta medals are available for $10 each. Orders can be placed by e-mailing miguelangel.ochoa@nisd.net.

Health Careers High School: Health Careers High School Fiesta medals are on sale for $7 each in the school’s office. Cash and checks are accepted. Proceeds go to scholarships for graduating seniors.

Hoffmann Elementary School: Hoffmann Elementary School medals can be purchased for $5 each in the front office. The design honors military families and April as the Month of the Military Child.

Howsman Elementary School: Howsman Elementary School medals are on sale for $8 each at the school. The design features the school’s eagle mascot wearing a sombrero. 

Jay High School: Jay High School is selling Fiesta medals for $8 each, and they are available in the Science and Engineering Academy front office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The 2018 medal honors the school’s 50th anniversary.

Kallison Elementary School: the inaugural Kallison Elementary School Fiesta medal is available for $10 in the school’s front office. The design features the Kallison Stampede logo and the Tower of the Americas.

Luna Middle School: The Luna Middle School Fiesta medal is on sale in the school’s front office. They are in limited supply and cost $10 each.

Martin Elementary School: The Martin Elementary School Fiesta medal was designed by fifth grader Rudy Herrrera. Medals are available for $8 each and can be purchased in the school library. Proceeds benefit the school PTA.

Northwest Crossing Elementary School: The Northwest Crossing Elementary School Fiesta medal is available for $5 in the school office. Medals feature the school’s cardinal mascot wearing a school shirt and sombrero.

O’Connor High School: The O’Connor High School Panther Band is selling Fiesta medals for $10 each in the front office. The design features the O’Connor Panther mascot and the theme “Welcome to the Jungle.”

Ott Elementary School: Ott Elementary School is selling Fiesta medals for $7 each in the front office, pre-sale only. The medal design celebrates San Antonio’s Tricentennial. Profits from the medals will go to fund field trips and buses for second grade activities.

Raba Elementary School: there are two different Fiesta medals for sale in the Raba Elementary School front office. One features the Raba Rattler mascot and the other is Dr. Seuss themed. Both are $10 each.

Vale Middle School: The Vale Middle School medal features the school’s stingray mascot. Medals are for sale in the front office for $8 each, cash only.

Warren High School/Construction Careers Academy: Warren High School is selling Fiesta medals for $7 each at the school’s front desk beginning April 16. This year’s design features the Warren Warrior wearing a sombrero.

Northside School Museum Association: And finally, the Northside School Museum Association is selling limited-edition medals for the eighth year in a row. The medal was designed by Rand Alsaberi, a senior at Holmes HS. Contact the Partnerships Office at 210-397-8599 or stop by the Museum located at the Northside Learning Center, 6632 Bandera Road, Building A. Medals are $10 each.
