CyberPatriot team headed to nationals

March 1, 2017

The Holmes/Business Careers High School Air Force JROTC TX-781st Unit CyberPatriot team is going to the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition for the second year in a row.

The team is ranked number one in Texas and is the only All Service Division team in the state going to the National competition. More than 4,000 teams entered the competition this year, with only the top 28 teams advancing to Nationals.

Cyber Patriot, an education initiative established by the Air Force Association, is a one-of-a-kind cyber defense competition designed to inspire students toward futures in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.

The National Competition will take place from April 3-5 in Baltimore, Md.
