Melissa De Hoyos - Principal
Hello, Locke Hill Lions! My name is Melissa De Hoyos and I am the proud Principal of Locke Hill Elementary. I started my journey as principal in July of 2021. Prior to then, I served as the Associate Principal of Carson Elementary for six years and as a teacher at Esparza Elementary for ten years. During my years as a teacher, I taught kinder, second, and third grade.

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and attended NISD schools for elementary and middle school. I come from a family of educators, my mother is a retired NISD teacher and my brother is a high school teacher in Southwest ISD. I absolutely love working with elementary school students and enjoy developing positive relationships with our students, families, and staff.

I look forward to a wonderful school year continuing the great things that represent Locke Hill Elementary. If ever I can be of service, please donโ€™t hesitate to reach out.
