Registration, Fee and Payment Information

21st CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTERS-TEXAS AFTERSCHOOL CENTERS ON EDUCATION (ACE):   The Texas ACE is a grant program administered by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers programin an effort to help foster student’s academic success by improving attendance, behavior, and academics. 

Northside ISD currently has 9 Learning Tree/Club LT sites funded through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) through 2018-2019.  The sites are:

Rayburn Middle School

McDermott Elementary

Ross Middle School

Valley Hi Elementary

Rudder Middle School

Westwood Terrace Elementary

CITY OF SAN ANTONIO (COSA) AFTER SCHOOL CHALLENGE PROGRAM SITES:  Northside ISD and the City of San Antonio currently fund 5 Learning Tree sites at:

NORTHSIDE ISD LEARNING TREE LOCAL 75 FUNDED SITES: For the 2018-19 school year, 13 schools have been selected to offer a no-tuition Learning Tree After School program for a maximum of 75 students who are most in need based on an application process and set criteria.  The 13 schools selected are:

Mary Hull Elementary

Cody Elementary

Mead Elementary

Esparza Elementary

Meadow Village Elementary

Glass Elementary

Neff Middle School

Glenn Elementary

Villarreal Elementary

Knowlton Elementary


Program hours are 2:45 PM – 6:30 PM on school days.

There is a $30 one-time non-refundable registration fee per year.  Parents must attend at least one parent engagement activity or event per month.  Students must attend school and program daily, maintain passing grades, and meet behavior expectations in school and in the program.

On-line applications must be completed and submitted for review by the following dates until all spaces are filled:

August 1st, August 15th, August 29th and September 15th.   After September 15th, applications will be reviewed on the 15th of every month through April 15th if spaces become available.   Waiting lists will be maintained.

Open Registration will begin online Friday June 1, 2018. 

To register, you will need your campus access code to enroll as a new user. 

To begin the registration process, go to Kids Care Center.   

Fees for Tuition Based Sites

Registration fee is $30 per child; non-refundable

Monthly Tuition for 2018-2019 School Year

Elementary: $210 monthly, September – May

Middle School: *$75 monthly, September - May

Tuition is based on 177 school days. There is no additional charge for August or June.


Discounts for siblings: $20 discount for 2nd child, $40 discount for 3 or more children.

Scholarships and additional discounts may be available, please contact your Program Specialist for more information.

*Discounts do not apply to middle school tuition.  

Reduced Tuition Application

To qualify for a reduced tuition, the household income must be within the limits of the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines.  Proof of income will need to be provided.  To submit an application for possible reduced tuition, you may select:

Payments for Tuition Based Sites

Payment is due on the first of each month. On the sixth day, a late fee of $25 is added to the tuition payment.

MySchoolBucks charges a 3.25% transaction fee on the total amount for all credit cards/debit cards. Check payments transaction fees are $1.75. 

There are four ways to make payments.

We are open Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Check, money order, or cash only; we cannot accept credit cards in the office. The office is closed on district holidays.

Additionally, NISD employees have the option of payroll deduct.
