Whether you are new to the district or new to teaching, Northside is committed to supporting our new teachers. Our goal is to position you for success in the classroom.

First-Year Teachers Wednesday, August 7 First-year secondary teachers (excluding CTE and SE) will attend an additional session focused on classroom management and organization on Wednesday, August 7th at Stinson Middle School. For more information on this session, please contact Tony Perez.. | |

On Tuesday, August 6th all Special Education Co-teach, ALE/AU, BMC, ECSE/ECC, & Speech Language Pathologist sessions will be held at the Northside Activity Center - 7001 Culebra Rd., San Antonio TX 78238.
Extended New Teacher training for all Special Education teachers will take place Wednesday, August 7h-Friday, August 9th at the Northside Activity Center.

Texas Teacher Evaluation & Support System (T-TESS) Orientation is required for beginning teachers, teachers new to Texas, or teachers who have never been appraised with the T-TESS instrument.
If you are required to attend T-TESS training please plan to attend ONE of the following sessions:
- Wednesday, July 31 - 8:00 am-12:00 pm at the Northside Activity Center
- Saturday, August 3 - 8:00 am-12:00 pm at the Northside Activity Center
- Thursday, August 8 - 8:00 am-12:00 pm at Folks Middle School
- Friday, August 9 - 8:00 am-12:00 pm at the Northside Activity Center
