Communities in Schools (CIS)

CIS Coordinator: Amanda Dortman & Stephanie Herrera

Hi! As the CIS-SA Site Coordinator on your campus, I want to partner with you to identify challenges our students face in class or at home and coordinate with community partners to bring outside resources into the school. From immediate needs like food or clothing to more complex ones like counseling or emotional support, I do whatever it takes to help students succeed.  Within a school year, my goal is to provide quality case management to 86+ students.

Student Needs

While no student is the same, students who may need support from CIS-SA are those with excessive absences, behavioral problems, conflict with other students, family crisis, or academic deficiencies.

Please contact me by phone or email to refer a student to receive CIS-SA services.
