The PTA is committed to enhancing educational opportunities and fostering community success through collaboration. Who We Are
The Brennan PTSA is a dedicated group of parents, teachers, and community members working together to create a fun and enriching learning environment for all Brennan students. We advocate for a strong educational system that benefits every student.
Our Purpose
The Brennan PTSA aims to:
- Promote the welfare of children and youth at home, school, places of worship, and within the community.
- Improve the standards of home life.
- Advocate for policies that support the education, physical and mental health, and overall well-being of children and youth.
- Encourage collaboration between families and educators to enhance student education.
- Unite the public in efforts to ensure the social, emotional, and physical well-being of all children and youth.
- Advocate for responsible public funding in education.
How You Can Help
- Join the PTA: Become a member for just $10 per school year. Join in person at a PTA meeting or online (with a $1.50 processing fee) at JoinPTA.org. Starting July 2025, membership fees will increase by $1.00.
- Volunteer: Whether you can give a little or a lot of your time, every bit helps. No required hours or mandatory meetings! Complete the NISD Volunteer Background Check and email us at brennanptsa@gmail.com to get involved.
- Speak Up: Attend meetings, share concerns, and ask questions.
- Promote: Spread the word about PTA initiatives and encourage others to join our efforts.
Membership Benefits
Membership is open year-round, and it's never too late to join. Your support strengthens our Brennan PTSA and allows us to host events like our popular BEARable Monday, where students and staff enjoy special treats each month. Members also gain access to exclusive perks, which can be found at txpta.org/member-perks.
Ways to Make a Difference
- Give Your Time: Volunteer at school events and activities.
- Join Bear Watch: Help keep our school safe by becoming a Bear Watch volunteer.
- What is Bear Watch? A new PTSA initiative where community volunteers assist in the school's 'See Something, Say Something' safety strategy. Volunteers will be positioned at key locations, such as restrooms and exterior doors, to observe and report any suspicious activity to school administration. This is a non-confrontational role focused solely on observation and reporting.
- Donate: Contribute items or financial support to help fund PTA events.
Brennan Business Community: If you're a business interested in donating or partnering with our school for a community program that benefits our students and staff, we'd love to hear from you! All donations are tax-deductible, and your support helps strengthen our community.
