Goals of a watch-parent program
- To provide positive role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.
- To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
The purpose of the Watch D.O.G.S and watch M.O.M.S is to provide support to our educators and encouragement to our children during these times.
Who can be a Watch D.O.G or Watch M.O.M?
Fathers/Mothers, grandparents, uncles/aunts and other parent-figures!
- Help monitor students during lunch/eat lunch with your student.
- Patrol school grounds at entrances and hallways
- Check doors are locked and secure
- Help with traffic flow during drop off and pick up
- Volunteer at school events as grounds monitor
- Come in half a day, the whole day, half an hour... whatever fits your schedule!
