In order to receive a Bob Beard Memorial Scholarship, a student must mail or hand-deliver the attached application by the due date and be selected by the scholarship committee. Applications are available in the high school counselors' offices beginning in January. The application is also posted below this announcement. Winners will be notified in mid-April with instructions regarding the process for the transfer of these funds to each winner's university.
The criteria for receiving a Bob Beard Memorial Scholarship are listed below. The recipient must:
- Be graduating from a Northside ISD High School;
- Have attended Bob Beard Elementary School for at least 3 years, including 3rd grade;
- Be pursuing post-secondary education;
- Complete this application and submit it on or before the deadline of March 7, 2025
