SAPD will be on campus conducting bicycle safety inspections and students will have the opportunity to compete in a variety of skill competitions. Children who are riding with training wheels will be scored on the competition only; not the inspection. All the participants will be eligible for trophies and awards.
Please
- Label your child's bike and helmet with their name, grade and teacher.
- Drop off your child's bike before school at the blacktop entrance and park it around the amphitheater in their grade level's designated area.
- Do not block traffic in the drop off lanes. Please park your vehicle in the parking lot and assist your child.
- If you plan on watching your child compete, please make sure to bring and ID and check-in in the front office.
- All bikes must go home at the end of the school day, so please have a plan in place.
Don't forget your bike and helmet!
