Oak Hills Terrace creates gaming group

December 16, 2013

Some students at Oak Hills Terrace may think that they are just playing games, but they are actually strategy-based critical thinking games which incorporate reading comprehension, logical reasoning, math, negotiation skills, cooperation, and geography.

The games provide students the opportunity to use a variety of problem-solving skills in a number of scenarios.

“We are very excited about this after school activity” says Vice Principal Kendra Merrell. “We know that the critical thinking skills learned will carry over into their academic studies in the classroom.”
