Friday, March 21- Cowboy Breakfast, Rodeo Round Up and Western Pictures!

Friday, March 21 is Rodeo Round Up Day! The day will start with a Cowboy Breakfast. Breakfast will be served from 6:45-7:30 a.m. After that, we're ready to learn and live like the cowboys did in early Texas times! We'll be hosting Eilleen Lehmberg from Southern Voices who will be sharing what life was like in the one room classroom, Bill Perryman who will be bringing Samual Houston back to life for a special presentation, the Southern Dairy Farmers will be here, the Alamo Line Dancers will be here, Nancy Clayton will be sharing Civil War Drumming stories, and we will even have some genuine artifacts from the Alamo. We will have a real barrel racer, farm animals and so much more. Be sure to wear your favorite boots and hat because we will be taking your picture that day too!  We will have a school wide dance at the end of the school day.  Sheriffs (classroom teachers) will be with their cowboys and cowgirls all day while they learn about life in early Texas. We can hardly wait!
