Schools annually recognize Campus Partners-of-the-Year in four categories: Outstanding Mentor, Outstanding Partner, Outstanding Partnership Coordinator, and Outstanding Business Partner. More than 300 campus winners were recognized at the May 22 Partnerships Recognitions and Awards, held in conjunction with ArtFest, a showcase of student artwork from across the District.
District-wide winners were selected from among the campus winners and were individually recognized at the awards reception by NISD Superintendent Brian Woods and members of the Board of Trustees.
Business Careers High School recognized four campus winners: Isaac Rodriguez from Security Service Federal Credit Union, Colonel James Scott, Dr. Matthew Gilley from St. Mary's University, and Cynthia Pena from NuStar Energy. In fact, Dr. Gilley was recognized at the district level for Outstanding Coordinator of they Year and Cynthia Pena was recognized at the district level for Outstanding Business or Community Organization.
All of our Corporate Advisory Board members make valuable contributions to our school and enhance the program in more ways than we could possibly list. We are incredibly grateful for all that they do and would like to thank them all!
