Absences:
When a child is absent or tardy from school, the parent or guardian should send a note to the school, within 3 days, explaining the reason for the absence upon the childโs return to school. All notes must include: the date of the note, the name of the child, the date of the absence(s) or tardy, the specific reason for the absence(s) or tardy and the parentโs signature.
Children are expected to attend school every day; however, parents should not send children to school when they are ill. If a child is absent for three consecutive school days due to illness, it is recommended that the parent seek medical attention for the child.
