Summer Programs at Stevens
AM Session: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m
PM Session: 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday
Accelerated Instruction
- Learning Location - Stevens HS, in person
- Course designed to strengthen skills and knowledge of the five EOC tested courses
- Dates: (Mon-Thurs) June 10 - June 20 (7 days)
- Holiday: June 19
- Students attend one session per required test with a maximum of two tests.
- Students must attend daily
Credit Retrieval
- Learning Location - Stevens HS, in person
- A supplemental online program for students to retrieve previously failed courses
- Dates: (Mon-Thurs) June 17 - July 11 (14 days)
- Holidays: June 19 & July 4
- Students must attend daily
Free lunch and bus transportation
- Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to students.
- Bus transportation is also provided. The bus will pick up and drop off at local Middle and Elementary schools
Cell Phone Policy
- Students’ electronic devices and cell phones must be put away and not accessed during instructional hours.
- Failure to do so could result in removal from the program.
STAAR Test Dates
- Monday, June 24th - Biology
- Monday, June 24th - U.S. History
- Tuesday, June 25th - English 1
- Wednesday, June 26th - Algebra 1
- Thursday, June 27th - English 2
