Northside ISD is working to address children's nutritional needs by opening two campus cafeterias during Spring Break, March 13-17, to provide a no-cost, hot breakfast and lunch to area students.
Each day during Spring Break, breakfast will be served from 8 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon.

The Jay SEA UIL Math team competed at Port Aransas High School on January 20-21 and represented our school very well! Awards won by our students include: Number Sense - 1st place Jorge Martinez, 3rd place Thomas Petterson, 4th place Rachel Walsdorf and 1st place team. Calculator - 1st place Valeria Munoz Gonzales, 3rd place Jorge Martinez, 6th place Luis Irigoyen, 1st place team. Mathematics - 2nd place Valeria Munoz Gonzales, 2nd place team. Science - 1st place Rachel Walsdorf; Top Biology and Top Chemistry student.
All SEA families are invited to attend the SEA Parent Group meeting on Monday, February 6 from 6:30-7:30pm in the library. Topics to be discussed include: class scheduling, AP & Dual Credit courses and summer opportunities & internships.
It’s time to start thinking of courses for the 2017-2018 school year! Are you interested in taking Dual Credit courses? Dual Credit courses give you the opportunity to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Dual Credit courses are offered in Math, English, Science and Spanish. The Science & Engineering Academy is hosting the FIRST Robotics Hill Country meet on Saturday, January 14. The meet features 13 teams and is the third in the Hill Country League Meet series. The public is welcome to attend the competition which will take place in the cafeteria from 8:00am-3:00pm.
