Rebecca Beebe
I am Rebecca Beebe, one of the school counselors at Oak Hills Terrace Elementary. As the school counselor, I provide guidance lessons to all students at their developmental level. I also facilitate small group and individual counseling for students to practice skills in a safe environment. I have a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Schreiner University and a Master's degree in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I have previously taught Kindergarten, First grade, Second grade, and Third grade. I was in my 9th year of teaching when I moved into the school counselor role. While I love teaching students, I truly feel like I found my place as a school counselor. Helping students work through their emotions and learning how to communicate is a hard job, but watching students develop those skills is amazing to witness. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends or walking my dog.
