Advanced Academics includes Advanced Placement (AP) classes, Dual Credit classes, UT OnRamps classes, and the Alamo Academies. Some of these classes and programs require an application process for students to qualify.

Login to your College Board account to access resources and register for AP exams.
Check the date/time of your AP exams in May.
Northside ISD requires students to pay for each exam. Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch qualify for a fee reduction.

The FIRST step in the Dual Credit application process, is the application. Applications will open in December and the deadline will be in February 2022. We will update the website once NVC finalizes their calendar.

Use this website to compare schools and see if your college credits will transfer.
Select Northwest Vista College as your first school (since thatโs the college to award your dual credit).
Select Palo Alto College as your first school if taking Ag Dual Credit classes.
NVC Dual Credit Transcript Request
Login to ACES and follow these steps to request a copy of your college transcript.
- Login to ACES
- Click on the "Student" tab
- Click on "Web Services" link
- Click on "Student"
- Click on "Student Records"
- Click on "Order Official Transcript"
- Complete the Transcript Ordering Services form in the pop-up window
Login to your ACES account to complete requirements, verify enrollment in your college classes, check college grades, and order transcripts.
