Prior to becoming principal, I had many experiences including being a teacher in PK, K, 3-5, curriculum coordinator and vice principal. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood and Bilingual Education and a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership.
Our mission is to teach with love, care, and respect and I firmly believe that we can accomplish this by being a united community. I believe that creating strong partnerships with parents, students and teachers are essential to the success of our school.

I am honored and exited to be the Associate Principal and pleased to continue getting to know you and your children.
This is my 22nd year in education. My first 5 years were at South San Antonio ISD where I had the privilege of teaching PK and third grade bilingual students. Then I moved to Northside ISD where I have taught 2nd, 3rd grade and Language support teacher. In this roll I had the privilege to work with PK-5th grade Emergent Bilingual teachers and students.
My educational background consists of Bachelor's in Business Administration from Southwest Texas known now as Texas State University. I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas San Antonio and a Principal Certification from Lamar University.
My passion is for all students to be lifelong learners by teaching with love, care and respect. I want to instill the love for learning. I believe all children have the potential to learn. I am a big advocate of the children. Together at Northwest Crossing we are committed to have all our students cultivate confidence, relationships, and innovation.
I look forward working and collaborating together to make this a great year!
