Northside’s annual Kinder Roundup will be held Jan. 16-26 to give next year’s kindergarten students and their parents an opportunity to pre-register for school, meet teachers, learn more about the program, and ensure there is space for the child at the neighborhood school.

To be eligible for kindergarten in 2024-2025, children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2024. For information about the kindergarten program and registration requirements, click here.

Students will not be assigned to a class until the summer, but parents will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and visit the campus

We thought that we could provide a menu of rotations across each room such as a read-aloud room, math stations room, reading room, centers themed room, etc. If possible we would also like to include a taste of Discovery - maybe similar to the Fine Arts Night last night where there is an activity that represents each of the Discovery classes in the gym at the close of our classroom rotations (Crafts, games, etc.).
