Construction Careers Academy students have been busy and they’re ready to show off and sell the projects that demonstrate their skills in the construction industry.
The school is hosting a free Tiny Homes Showcase Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with activities for the whole family.
- Tour student-built tiny homes
- Drive a mini-excavator
- See various student work on display
- Kid’s Zone – hands on construction activities and games for kids
- Visit with business partners and exhibitors
Student projects up for sale include
- The Palomino -- CCA's Largest "Tiny Home" yet!
- The Skookie -- School Bus to Tiny Home Conversion
- Deer blinds
- Deer blinds
- Branka Tiny Home, and so much more!
Students contribute to these projects based on each strand of study at CCA: Architecture and Design, Construction Management, Applied Engineering, Carpentry, Electrical/HVAC or Plumbing/Pipe Fitting/Welding.
CCA is located on the Warren High School campus, 9411 W. Military Drive.
