Hello! My name is Natalie Stuart and I am the STEM teacher here at Mead Elementary.

Welcome to Mead's STEM Lab!
S.T.E.M. education integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics into creative problem-solving. Students are introduced to the Engineering Design Process to plan, revise, and rethink challenges that may have multiple solutions. Efforts that are not successful are encouraged as they lead to understanding how modification of plans is necessary to arrive at a more efficient product. Personal independence, as well as interpersonal skills, are nurtured to round out the student as a whole.
