Here’s some helpful tips on background checks for volunteers.
Steps to Volunteer:
1. Complete a Background Check Form: All volunteers must complete an online background form every school year. The process can take 1-2 weeks so fill out now so you are prepared to volunteer as opportunities arise. Here's a district link to frequently asked questions on background checks.
2. Contact the school secretary 1-2 weeks after submission to confirm the background check has cleared so you can begin to take advantage of volunteer opportunities.
**If you are unable to fill out the form online, the school secretary can help you. Just come to the school and let them know at the front office that you would like to fill out a background check application.
