Reading & Math MAP Testing
All Northside middle school students will participate in MAP testing through their Reading and Math classes. These tests are intended to measure students' growth and help teachers tailor instruction for specific students. This test adjusts to the individual student. This allows us to truly measure each student's current abilities, and it also means students will likely feel challenged by this test. This test is intended to guide instruction, not to impact a student's grade.
Schedule Changes
Friday, August 30, is the last day to request any schedule changes. Students can submit change requests by accessing their Schoology account, clicking on the Counseling tab, and completing the google form.
Parent Volunteers
We welcome parents to serve as chaperones on magnet field trips. Adult volunteers (including field trip chaperones) must successfully complete a background check form at: https://www.nisd.net/community/volunteer-mentor
These checks reset each year, so it is necessary to apply again for this school year.
T-Shirt Sales
