I am SUPER excited to BLAST OFF on this incredible journey with all of our Astronauts! I have had the honor and privilege of serving as your Principal since the spring of 2019.
A Little About Me: This is my Twentieth year in Northside and I have taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and was a Math Specialist at Fisher Elementary for 4 years. In 2014, I became a Vice Principal and had the opportunity to serve in that capacity at both Westwood Terrace and Cable Elementary.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and my Administrator’s Certificate all from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Go Runners!
I look forward to making a difference in our school and community with each and every one of our students, families, and members of our community. I believe that we can build a lasting relationship to support our students in becoming honorable citizens and lifelong learners.
Please feel free to contact me if you should have any questions, suggestions, or concerns.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working in education in Northside. In 2007, I had the privilege to begin teaching as a 2nd Grade Bilingual teacher at Esparza Elementary. The following year I became a Dual Language teacher in the same grade level. A few years later I taught as a 3rd Grade Dual Language teacher. In 2015 I was blessed to receive my Master Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I’m a proud Road Runner! I had the privilege of being the Administrative Intern at Boone Elementary in 2016. The following year, I was honored to become the Vice Principal here at John Glenn in March of 2017. I am very excited for this school year and the wonderful opportunities for growth and learning for our students. I know that as we work together we can strengthen our relationships which in turn will have a lasting impact on each one of our Glenn students. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns.
