Stallion Technology and Dress Code

  • Do not wear torn or ripped clothing that shows skin
  • Sleeveless shirt straps must be 3 fingers in width; spaghetti straps are not allowed
  • Do not wear flip flops or slides of any kind
  • Unconventional hairstyles that can be a distraction to the learning environment are not allowed
  • Leggings or tight-fitting exercise pants are only allowed with tops and dresses that reach no more than 4 inches above the knee
  • Skirts or dresses must reach no more than 4 inches above the knee, even with tights
  • Low-cut, off-shoulder, or strapless blouses are not allowed
  • No hoods, hats, or caps may be worn on the head in the building
  • No saggy/baggy pants
  • Your waist must be covered at all times by your top/blouse
  • Plain white or muscle/sleeveless shirts are not allowed
  • Do not wear shirts with inappropriate wording or pictures
  • Do not wear pajamas or slippers to school
  • Do not use cell phones, headphones, or earbuds in the hallways
  • Electronic devices such as cell phones, Ipads and Airpods are allowed on campus, but must be off and out of sight during the school day, unless they are being used for a class under teacher supervision. Any and all electronics will be the sole responsibility of the student and Folks MS is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • PARENTS NOTE: If your child violates the dress code policy, a phone call will be made in order for parents to bring another change of clothing. If you are unable to deliver acceptable clothing, your child may be offered a loaner item from the VPO and issued consequences. Repeated offenses will result in additional disciplinary actions. Technology devices will be confiscated and a parent or guardian will be required to pick up the item if students are found in violation.
