Dear Graduate,
Congratulations on this important accomplishment, your high school graduation! Northside Independent School District will hold the Summer Graduation Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024 at the Northside Sports Gym located at Farris Stadium, 8400 N. Loop 1604 West, 78249.

Graduates must report to the Northside Sports Gym for a mandatory graduation rehearsal at 10 a.m. on August 5. Participation in rehearsal is mandatory for all graduates participating in the graduation ceremony. Graduation caps and gowns may be purchased for $50 (CASH ONLY) immediately following graduation rehearsal.
Graduates will need to return to the Northside Sports Gym by 5:45 p.m. for the graduation ceremony. It is recommended graduates wear a solid color dress or slacks and light or dark colored dress shoes.
If any family member is unable to attend, but would like to watch the ceremony, they can do so by watching the livestream at nisd.net/live starting at 6:30 p.m. A professional photographer will also take photos on stage as you receive your diploma. The proofs will be mailed to you along with an order form. Questions regarding the proofs may be directed to Flash Photography at 1-800-410-8070. Family and friends are permitted to take pictures from the stands.

- Doors for guests attending graduation will open at 5:30 p.m. on the day of graduation. You may bring as many guests as you like and tickets are not required.
- Parking is free. Due to heavy traffic, parents are encouraged to arrive early.
- Please remember that noisemakers (horns, bells, etc.) of any kind are not allowed.
- Remember that loud, crude, obnoxious and inappropriate shouting of names or other remarks do not add to the ceremony, but disrupt it.
- CHAVEZ EXCEL ACADEMY STUDENTS ONLY:
You do not have to bring your diploma to the ceremony. A blank diploma cover will be provided. If you have not picked up your diploma, please call the school and arrange a time to pick it up.
