Documents Required for Registration
Documents may be uploaded directly into the online registration system or brought to the school so that copies can be made.
- Child's Social Security Card (optional)
- An original certified copy of the child's birth certificate
- An up-to-date immunization record
- Proof of residency:
- a current or prior month's utility bill; or
- a sales, lease, or rental contract; or
a notarized Affidavit of Residence (AOR) form (en Espaรฑol)

Military Liaison Duties:
Serves as the point of contact and works collaboratively between military-connected students and their families and the campus. Maintains familiarity with enrollment processes, records transfer, existing community resources, and student supports. Ensures military-connected students are identified and properly coded through the TSDS PEIMS. Determines campus-based supports and services available to military-connected students based on their unique needs. Assists in coordinating campus-based programs relevant to military-connected students. Attends professional development or training annually to learn and understand topics related to the transition of military-connected students and their families. Offers professional development opportunities for staff members on issues related to military-connected students.

Military students have their educational opportunities protected through this compact, assisting students with educational challenges that arise when transitioning across state lines. Students qualify for Pre-K if a parent/guardian is an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who is ordered to active duty by proper authority or is the child of a member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty. Proof of these items would need to be presented to the campus during the registration/qualification meeting. Military ID and/or paperwork showing active duty is required.
