The Cole Counseling Department focuses on the four components: intrapersonal relationships, interpersonal relationships, post-secondary planning, and personal health/safety.
Through short-term individual and group counseling we are able to teach specific coping skills and strategies to help meet the needs of our students. Our campus recognizes the importance of social and emotional development and we work alongside parents, teachers and staff to develop these skills. Students who have social and emotional skills are more likely to become empathetic leaders with strong character and are better equipped to handle challenges that may come their way. In addition, we are available for consultation and to provide outside resources and referrals when necessary.
