Georgette Carrasco - Principal
Cody Colts and Families,

I am Georgette Carrasco the extremely proud Principal of Ed Cody Elementary!!!! I am very excited to join Cody Colts where learning is dynamic, students are hardworking, parents are loving, and teachers and community members are committed to working together to help our students achieve success no matter what it takes!

I graduated from the University of A&M Kingsville with my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, I currently have two Masters’ degree in the areas of Special Education and Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Go Runners! I value education and try to instill that learning is the one thing that no one can take away from you so; I am now working on my Doctorate’s degree. Learning is VALUABLE!!! I am currently in my 16th year in education and every year is filled with new and adventurous experiences. Before coming to Northside ISD, I had the opportunity to work in NEISD for ten years as a special education teacher team lead. I then transition to Northside ISD and became a Franklin Colt for five years, until the BEST opportunity came available at Ed Cody Elementary!

I look forward to serving our students and their families as we continue to strive towards making our students' dreams become reality!

My name is Mrs. Tammy Reyna and I am honored to serve as your Associate Principal. I am originally from San Antonio and have lived here most of my life. I am a proud graduate of Jefferson High School in SAISD. I attended Texas State University in San Marcos where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I taught second grade and third grade at Evers Elementary here in Northside before going back to school to become a Librarian. I earned my Master’s degree in Library Science and Information Systems from the University of North Texas in Denton. I had the wonderful opportunity to open a brand new library at Lieck Elementary where I have joyfully served the students and families since 2011. I am passionate about public education and so decided to return to school with the purpose of learning and growing into my role as a school leader. I earned my second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Trinity University in December of 2021. I have a wonderful husband and three beautiful daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends when I can. Some of my favorite things to do are reading, traveling, and trying new restaurants. It is my honor to serve the Cody community. Together we can create a warm and nurturing environment where EVERY child learns and grows. I look forward to working with all of you! Go Colts!--
