The goal of the Allen Library Program is to provide access to current, diverse materials and teach information literacy to give the school community the tools necessary for self-directed learning. The library program also collaborates with the staff by providing resources and instruction to support their curriculum and meet the needs of diverse learners. Lastly, the library is a place that fosters a love of reading in order to develop lifelong readers.
Parents can create a parent account simply by showing a picture id. Once the account is created, parents can check out up to 5 items at a time. Students can return parent items, but students are not allowed to check out under a parent's name without the parent being present. We set that policy to ensure that there are no surprises on the parent account.
