JOHN MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL SEEKING 1981 CLASS GRADUATES
SAN ANTONIO – The 1981 graduating class of John Marshall High School still
is seeking graduates to participate in its historic 35th class reunion.
There is still time for graduates to register to participate in multiple
events by checking out www.Johnmarshall1981.com. Information also is
available under the tab “Reunions & More” at http://nisd.net/marshall/.
Events include a Happy Hour at the Hilton Garden Inn at the Rim on Friday,
June 24; an afternoon at Top Golf, Saturday, June 25; and dinner and music at
Maggiano’s Little Italy at the Rim, the evening of Saturday, June 25.
Costs vary and classmates are invited to participate in one or all of the
events. The first night’s mixer features free entrance and light hors
Participants buy their own drinks. Lunch at Top Golf is $30 or $60 per person
who play. Dinner at Maggiano’s is $75 each.
This graduating class has been featured twice in feature articles in the San
Antonio Express-News for reflecting the values of the Baby Boomer generation.
This generation is now noted for continued contributions to society as
energetic 50-somethings who through better health and education than previous
generations are seen as invaluable to their communities, cultural experts
John Marshall is an established school in Northside ISD, one of the state’s
largest school districts. It is the largest San Antonio district and
fourth-largest in Texas.
As with every generation, the 1981 class has lost some of its own. To share
