Northside Geography

Northside Independent School District spans 355 square miles of urban landscape, suburban growth and rural Texas hill country. It is located in the northwest quadrant of Bexar County (San Antonio, TX). Because NISD continues to experience rapid enrollment growth, school boundaries change frequently. Boundary changes may occur when a new school opens or when a boundary change is necessary between existing schools.

Attendance Area Maps

While boundary changes are kept to a minimum, NISD cannot guarantee future year school assignment. In the case of our elementary campuses, assignment of new students is subject to available space, thus the attendance area maps may not apply. An enrollment cap and transfer system is in place at all of our elementary schools resulting in many campuses having to send extra students to a neighboring cluster campus. Please contact the elementary school directly to confirm space is available at specific grade levels.
