Ms. Beebe

Hi there! My name is Rebecca Beebe. This is my first year at Kallison, but I have been a school counselor for two years. I have nine years of teaching experience in K-3. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Schreiner University and a double Master’s in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health from UTSA. I knew that I was meant to be a school counselor when I experienced the importance of teaching how to communicate feelings and coping skills. I especially enjoy being in the role of a school counselor because the work we do comes from a theoretical background. While working with students individually or in small groups, I tend to use CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or Solution-Focused techniques. I use these theories because it allows the student to identify what they are struggling with and how they think they should solve the problem. I am super excited to be here and get to know as many students as quickly as possible.

Mrs. Waters

Hello! My name is Racquel Waters and I am so pumped to start this school year again with my Stampede Family. This will be my 8th year in Education and 1st full year as a school counselor. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for the students to express their feelings, navigate challenges, and develop essential life skills. I believe that every student is unique and capable of success, and I am committed to helping them realize their strengths and talents. I utilize a variety of counseling theories and techniques, but I primarily draw from the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This approach helps students understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, empowering them to make positive changes in their lives. I find that this approach is effective in helping students manage stress, improve their self-esteem and develop problem- solving skills. I look forward to an AMAZING year!

Mrs. Bardin

Hi there!

MY name is Susana Bardin and I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful school community. I will be working with First and Fifth grade this year. I am from San Antonio and a product of NISD. I was a classroom and a special education teacher for many years. This will be my sixth year as a school counselor. As a school counselor my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students. With the combination of CBT and solution focused, we can discover how  you are resilient and stronger than you think. I'm beyond excited to work with your children and get to know you throughout the year. Helping students become the best version of themselves is truly a partnership.
