Brandeis HS students were invited to attend the set of  KENS 5 morning talk show, Great Day S.A.  Several members of Teens in the Driver's Seat showed their support for Red Ribbon Week and Safe Driving by advocating for their cause and joining the station to promote healthy living.

Brian Christensen, a third grade teacher at Allen ES, was named “KONO 101.1’s Teacher of the Week” recently. He was presented a $100 Amazon Gift Card that was donated to the school library.

Sixth grade students in Matthew Murray’s Social Studies class made and sold lavender ribbons to support children battling cancer. All the monies collected were donated to the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.
