Steubing Stallions have had so much fun this year creating art pieces for our 25th Anniversary and more recently, ornaments for Christmas! We're happy to be back from Christmas Break and ready to create more fun projects this Spring. We'll be focusing on sewing and weaving for the next couple of weeks, then some collage, printmaking, optical illusions, and sketching, among other things. We study famous artists, and types of art, as well as, learning the elements and principles of art. Steubing students are encouraged to be more involved in art at home. There will be opportunities to enter one of many fabulous Art Contests coming up in the spring.
Music is an essential component in Steubing's goal of providing a well-rounded education to all students. In our music class, your student will have the opportunity to play instruments, sing songs, and play games all while learning to read music notation.
