Sarah Martinez, M.S., CCC-SLP
Hello!
My name is Sarah Martinez, or as my students know me best, Miss Sarah. I am one of the two Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) assigned to Kallison Elementary. This is my fifth year at Kallison and seventh with Northside. Prior to Northside, I worked as an Assistant-SLP in several small towns and school districts across South Texas. I received my Master’s of Science degree with a major in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Woman’s University, and maintain my Certificate of Clinical Competence provided by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
This year, I am in a supervisory position, which allows me to be a part of two campuses and supervise one of Northside’s Assistant-SLPs. As an SLP, my goal is to provide my students with a form of communication that is easily understood by others, but as your child’s SLP, my goal is to be their advocate and your resource. In therapy sessions, I hope to make every session fun but also beneficial. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, crafting, and spending time with my family and friends.
